With their infectious blend of alternative rave, industrial goth, and electrifying stage presence, Sugarstone has taken the music scene by storm. marrying dreamy soundscapes and electric nostalgia with hard rock like a love-child of Nine Inch Nails and Duran Duran. The boys arm themselves with ten years of friendship, further strengthening their tight sound and on stage
presence.
Featuring plays on Radio 6 from Guy Garvey, listing them as his “new favourite band” alongside making them his track of the week; Simon Le Bon’s featured track on ‘whoosh!’, Radio 1’s Alyx HolcombeforRock Introducing, Radio 1’s Track Of The Week,a trip to the BBC’s Maida Vale for BBC Introducing and a play on Radio X’s ‘Xposure’.
Controlled chaos is what the Salford based boys do best. As well as their run of sold out headline shows in Manchester, their live prowess has earnt them support slots for bands such as Kid Kapichi, Life, The Blinders, Calva Louise, Strange Bones, Clt Drp, Witch Fever and Tokky Horror. The boys have also played a Friday evening slot at Kendal Calling on the BBC Introducing Stage, further expanding their ever growing fanbase.
